This nutritious milk recipe is great to beat the cold winters to keep you warm.
Ingredients
- 1 litre of milk
- 2 tbsp of poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp of almonds
- 4 to 5 deseeded dried dates, chopped
- 1 tsp of whole black pepper
- 4 to 5 green cardamom
- 1 tsp ghee
Procedure
- Soak the poppy seeds, almonds, black pepper, and cardamom in warm water for some time. Take all these ingredients in a blender and blend them to make a smooth paste.
- Heat some gheein a kadhai and roast the paste for a few minutes. Add the milk and dates. Boil the milk over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Add the sugar and stir well.
- Serve hot.
